Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2026

The service

AccessCheck scans your website for accessibility issues based on WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines and delivers a report to your email address on a weekly basis. The service is automated — reports are generated by software, not reviewed by a human attorney or accessibility consultant.

No legal guarantee

AccessCheck is a monitoring and reporting tool. Using this service does not guarantee legal compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, WCAG, or any other standard. Receiving a report does not constitute legal advice. If you receive a demand letter or lawsuit, consult a qualified attorney.

Subscription and billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly by Stripe. You may cancel at any time from the Stripe billing portal. Upon cancellation, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds are issued. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice.

Acceptable use

You may only submit URLs you own or have explicit permission to scan. Do not use AccessCheck to scan websites belonging to others without their consent.

Limitations of liability

AccessCheck is provided "as is." We are not liable for any damages — direct, indirect, or consequential — arising from use of the service, including but not limited to missed accessibility violations, lawsuit outcomes, or service downtime.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
